Musical Veterans Day Tribute

St. Croix Lutheran Academy, 1200 Oakdale Ave. West St. Paul, will host a musical Veterans Day tribute on Thursday, Nov. 8. Guests are invited to check in and enjoy light refreshments at 9:45 a.m. followed by a chapel service at 10:30 a.m.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The New Brighton's Lions Club is hosting a charity event October 30 at Adagio's Pizza Factory in New Brighton.  Adagio's is donating 10% of all sales on that day to Tubman.  The Lions Club is also collecting personal items for the shelter until October 30 at Adagio's.  These include new full size shampoos, cream rinse, body soap and lotion.  Also Baby lotion, wash, and shampoo are needed.
