Donation funds decontamination sauna for Roseville FD


Mike Munzenrider photos/Review • Roseville fire Chief Tim O’Neill presented Julie and Hugh Thibodeau with a fire helmet March 27 at the Roseville Fire Station, recognizing them for their $20,000 gift to the fire department, which paid for a decontamination sauna for firefighters.

Firefighters are 2.5 times more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than the general population and the Roseville Fire Department is determined to do something about it.

Raiders make memories, take fourth place at state

The Roseville Area High School girls basketball team and its fans enjoyed some March madness of their own, and now the girls’ trip to the state basketball tournament is a wrap.

Roseville needs help naming its two new parks


courtesy of City of Roseville • Roseville is seeking input on names for its two new parks, one in the southwest corner of the city at 2134 Cleveland Ave. and the other in the southeast corner of the city at 1716 Marion St. Arrows mark the site of each.

Earlier this year, the Roseville City Council approved master plans and a half million dollars in funding for two new parks and now the city is looking for help to name them.
